In the second game freshman Jessica Rhodes (Alpine, N.Y.), who entered the weekend as the Roos (2-10) top hitter batting .462, went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles. Sophomore Melissa Campoverde (Forest Hills, N.Y.) and freshmen Olivia Blackmore (Madrid, N.Y.) and Jena Cryderman (Madrid, N.Y.) each contributed a single in the nightcap.
