(Middlebury, Vt.)- The SUNY Canton women’s cross country team finished in fourth place out of six teams at the Aldrich Invitational at Middlebury College on Saturday.

The host Panthers won the overall team title followed by St. Michael’s College, Norwich University, SUNY Canton, Paul Smith’s College, and Johnson State College.

Sophomore Megan Mydosh (Warwick, N.Y.) finished in 19th place out of 67 total runners in the race in a time of 21:16. Mydosh was the Roos top finisher for the third time this season and she’s held that position in every race she’s run during the past two seasons.

Freshman Megan Morrow (Gouverneur, N.Y.) crossed the line five slots later in 24th place with a time of 22:08. Freshman Kyra Byrne (Queensbury, N.Y.) was right on her heels coming in 26th place at 22:25. Freshman Bonna Millem (North Rose, N.Y.) was next in 35th place (24:42), followed by freshman Paige Janis in 46th place (24:42) and freshman Jessica Nagy (Budd Lake, N.J.) in 49th place (25:04).

The Roos return to Vermont on September 22 when they run in the Southern Vermont Mountaineer Invitational in Bennington.
