SUNY Canton got off to a quick start with five runs in the first two innings. The Nittany Lions got one back in the third but the Roos posted nine runs in the fifth as they finished off the five inning run rule win.

Podkladek earned the third win of her rookie season giving up just one earned run and striking out two batters. Kayla Karchner gave up 11 hits and 13 runs, only one of which was earned as six errors hurt Hazleton.
