(Oswego, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women’s volleyball rolled on as they won their seventh straight match Friday night beating Oswego State University 3-0 for the second straight time.
The Roos, who are ranked sixth in the USCAA Coaches Poll, improved to 14-2 overall and swept an opponent three games to none for the seventh straight time. SUNY Canton also swept the Lakers 3-0 last weekend in Canton and on Friday won 25-21, 25-12 and 25-18.
Senior Abbey Shoen (Waddington, N.Y.) collected a double-double to lead the Roos as she pounded down 10 kills and made 10 digs.
Sophomore Mackenzie Mynter (Churchville, N.Y.) passed out 26 assists and made seven digs and three kills. Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Reynolds (Oakville, Ontario) added nine kills and six digs. Senior outside hitter Danielle Swanston (Burke, N.Y.) recorded 12 digs and five kills. Freshman middle hitter Morgan Bills (Walworth, N.Y.) contributed nine kills and three service aces and freshman libero Robyn Carroll (Bowmanville, Ontario) notched 10 digs.
The Roos will take on Utica College on Saturday in Oswego starting at 11 a.m.
