Aston, PA – Jack Keenan (Brasher Falls, NY) scored three times but the men's lacrosse offense struggled to get going in a 19-6 loss to host Neumann University on Saturday.

Neumann (3-8) got on the board first 2:40 into the contest when Ryan Eber netted his 31st goal of the season. The Knights added two more goals but the Roos (3-5) had a strong close to the opening quarter as Garrett DiTullio (Potsdam, NY) scored back-to-back goals to make it 3-2 after the first.

The teams exchanged goals to start the second stanza as Keenan beat the opposing goalie for the seventh time this season. Neumann scored six of the next seven tallies as they took a commanding 10-4 lead into intermission.

The Knights continued to control play in the second half scoring the first seven goals of the second half en route to the 18-6 victory.

Keenan led SUNY Canton offensively with three goals, while DiTullio found the back of the net twice. Tony Carden (Franklin, MA) and Corey Spuck (Rochester, NY) paced the Roos with six ground balls each.

Spuck made eight saves in the start, while Dylan Dix (Rochester, NY) turned aside 10 shots in relief. Alex Becker stopped 10 shots in the win for Neumann, while Tom Blakeslee came on to make three saves.
