(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men’s lacrosse team has earned the No. 6 seed in the 2013 ECAC championship and will hit the road to play at Centenary College in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 8.
The Roos finished the regular season with a 6-6 record in just their second year as an intercollegiate program, and join the men’s soccer team as the second SUNY Canton program to earn an ECAC championship berth this year. SUNY Canton won two out of their last three games beating Johnson State 17-4 at home and downing Lyndon State 20-4 on the road.
Wednesday’s quarterfinal game against the third-seeded Cyclones will be played at Warren Hills Regional High School in Washington, N.J. at 7 p.m. Centenary is 13-3 overall and advanced to the championship game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
