Roos earn berth in ECAC men's lax championship

(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men’s lacrosse team has earned the No. 6 seed in the 2013 ECAC championship and will hit the road to play at Centenary College in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 8.

The Roos finished the regular season with a 6-6 record in just their second year as an intercollegiate program, and join the men’s soccer team as the second SUNY Freshman Chris Gamble and the men's lacrosse team earned a berth in the ECAC tournamentFreshman Chris Gamble and the men's lacrosse team earned a berth in the ECAC tournamentCanton program to earn an ECAC championship berth this year. SUNY Canton won two out of their last three games beating Johnson State 17-4 at home and downing Lyndon State 20-4 on the road.

Wednesday’s quarterfinal game against the third-seeded Cyclones will be played at Warren Hills Regional High School in Washington, N.J. at 7 p.m. Centenary is 13-3 overall and advanced to the championship game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
