She scored once and drove in two runs, while Kristyn Reynolds (Malone, NY) and Sharon Cordero (Goshen, NY) also posted 1 RBI each. The Colonels used six 11 runs in the first three innings to take a commanding 11-1 lead. SUNY Canton would get three back in the top of the fifth but the hosts added one in the bottom half for the 12-4 run rule victory after five innings.

Shaylah Morris (Berlin, NY) got the start on the mound surrendering eight runs and 11 hits over two innings of action. Ashley Merritt (Watertown, NY) pitched two and one-third innings in relief allowing four earned runs on five hits. She also struck out two batters and gave up two free passes. Bixler earned her fourth win of the season yielding four earned runs on eight hits for Wilkes. She struck out eight and walked three.

Game Two

Colonel pitcher Haylie Phillips gave up two hits and one run over four innings to pick up her second win of the season, while Meghan Kisela tossed three innings of scoreless ball. The two combined to strike out six Roo batters.

Phillips helped her own cause leading off the bottom of the first with a solo shot to left to give Wilkes an early 1-0 lead. SUNY Canton responded to tie the game at one in the top of the second. Rhea Coad (Wheatfield, NY) opened the inning reaching after she was hit by a pitch. Reynolds put runners at first and second with no outs after her single to third. With two down in the inning Shannon Cole (Goshen, NY) came up clutch with a single to center plating Arianna Maldonado (Utica, NY), who pinch ran for Coad.

Wilkes opened up a 4-1 lead after two innings as a second home run, RBI single and wild pitch plated three in the bottom half of the inning. The Colonels would add four runs in the fourth and fifth innings to take the 8-1 decision in the second game of the twinbill.
