(West Seneca, N.Y.) – Senior Tom Darling (Oswego, N.Y.) notched the 100th hit of his career, helping the SUNY Canton baseball team split with D’Youville College on Sunday. The Roos won game one 19-1 and lost the nightcap 3-2.
The Roos, 12-21, have won six out of their last nine games and scored their most runs in a game in the past two seasons.
Darling entered the doubleheader with 98 career hits and joined the exclusive club after Sunday’s twinbill.
Senior Michael Zelyez (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in game two, and sophomore Dom Deliberti (Staten Island, N.Y.) had three strikeouts in six innings.

The Roos hit the road to play at Plattsburgh State on Tuesday night, and then wrap up their season with a home doubleheader on Wednesday against Utica College.
