(Scranton, Pa.)- Senior forward Darren Camp (Canton, N.Y.) joined the 100-point club on Saturday after registering an assist in the Roos 13-0 win over the University of Scranton.
Camp joins teammate Rob Liggio (Canton, N.Y.) in the club after Liggio notched his 100th point on Friday. The two Canton natives have combined to score 202 points for SUNY Canton so far in their careers. Camp and Liggio both stood at 98 points entering the weekend and surpassed the milestone in two impressive wins.
The Roos improved to 4-0 overall and posted their third shutout in their first four games this season.
Dave Schneider (Indianapolis, Ind.) fired in five goals against Scranton and finishes the weekend with an astounding eight goals in two games. Liggio added two goals and one assist in the win on Saturday.
Morgan Barr (Almonte, Ontario) and Lorne Shotwell (Lewiston, N.Y.) combined to make 29 saves for the Roos.
SUNY Canton returns home next weekend for a two-game series with St. Bonaventure University. The two teams collide on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and then again on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m.
