Ithaca, NY – The SUNY Canton baseball team closed out a weekend series v. Ithaca College dropping a 23-3 decision to the host Bombers on Sunday.
Ithaca (16-12, 9-6 Empire 8) scored 19 runs over the first three innings to take its second game of the three game series.
The Roos (6-21, 3-7 E8) posted one run in the fifth and two in the ninth. Collin Trathen singled up the middle to bring home Fernando Santana in the fifth, while Brian Santana walked home Fernando Santana in the ninth and Brandon Bautista scored on a Travis Schindler sacrifice fly.
Cam Fuoti drove in six runs for the Bombers, while Domenic Boresta finished the day 4-for-4 with 5 RBI.
