New Rochelle, NY – The SUNY Canton softball team saw its offense explode en route to a sweep of host College of New Rochelle on Saturday afternoon. The wins improve the Roos to 4-6, while the Blue Angels drop to 0-4.
SUNY Canton took the opening game in convincing fashion, 31-2. Annie Sharlow (Malone, NY) earned her second win of the season on the mound, while Makenzie Rowe (Gouverneur, NY) saw time in relief.
The Roos continued to roll on all cylinders in game two earning a 43-0 victory. Kelsey Morgan (Central Square, NY) also picked up her second victory of the season as both freshmen were dominant in the circle.
