Potsdam, NY – Solid rounds on the back nine helped to propel sophomore Nolan Reid (Champlain, NY) and junior Zach Meade (Tupper Lake, NY) up the leaderboard as the duo finished in the top three at the SUNY Potsdam Fall Golf Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the Potsdam Town & Country Club.

The Roos finished in fourth place among the four teams at a more-than respectable score of 320, trailing Clarkson (306), SUNY Potsdam (313), and Oswego State (317).

Reid finished second overall with a three-over par 75, scoring a 36 on the back nine, while Meade was the only golfer to break par on either the front or back nine, recovering with a one-under 35 on the final nine holes after scoring 41 on the front nine.

Meade finished in a four-way tie for third with an 18-hole score of 76. Freshman Jeff Mott (Waddington, NY) scored 81 and classmate Carter Brock (Albany, NY) finished with an 88 to close out the scoring for SUNY Canton. Individuals Steve McCorduck (Oriskany, NY) and Connor Gray (Clayton, NY) shot 82 and 94, respectively, while Matt Russell (Cranberry Lake, NY) shot a 101 in the fifth-spot for the Roos.
