(Cazenovia, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men’s cross country team finished in fifth place out of 12 teams at the Cazenovia College Invitational on Saturday.
SUNY ESF won the event followed by Hartwick College, SUNY Delhi, SUNY Canton, Morrisville State College, Sage College, Onondaga, Keuka College, SUNYIT, and Bryant and Stratton College.
Senior Justin Richardson (Pavilion, N.Y.) led the Roos with an impressive third-place finish out of 99 total runners. No official times have been provided.
Junior Jon Flint (Queensbury, N.Y.) crossed the line in 13th place for SUNY Canton. He was followed by freshman Zachary Doyle (Oneonta, N.Y.) in 20th place, senior Dylan Barringer (Walkill, N.Y.) in 50th place, and sophomore Leonardo Garcia (Bronx, N.Y.) in 63rd place.
The Roos are next in action on October 6 when they run at the Hoffman Invitational at St. Lawrence University.
