The win advanced the Saints (14-11) to the Liberty League Championship game Saturday against top-seeded Skidmore at 4Riley Naclerio scored a career-high 32 points in the Liberty League semifinal win at Union pm in Saratoga Springs.

St. Lawrence fell behind in the first half, trailing by as many as seven points but closed the gap to three points at halftime.

In the second half, Union (13-12) regained the seven-point advantage early but Naclerio sparked a 10-0 run for the Saints with a pair of 3-pointers to put the Saints up three at 52-49 five minutes into the half.

Another 3-pointer and a pair of free throws by Naclerio at the 8:14 mark in the period gave the Saints a seven-point lead at 68-61 and Ben Crawford layup 40 seconds later made it a nine-point lead.

Union battled back but two more Naclerio free throws at 3:19 and a layup a minute later gave the nine-point lead back to the Saints with less than two minutes remaining.

The Dutchmen hit a couple late 3-pointers but free throws by Kyle Edwards, Naclerio and Kieran Miller sealed the win for St. Lawrence.

The 91 points is the most for a Saints team since scoring 100 in a 100-82 victory over RPI on Jan. 20, 2012.

Naclerio's previous career high scoring was 19 points earlier this year at Ithaca and his four 3-pointers tied a career-high from last season. His 14 rebounds also eclipsed his career-best as he grabbed 11 against Skidmore earlier this month.
