Senior Grant Reeder posted a pair of wins, while classmate Matt Bauer earned a second and third-place finish for the Saints men's swimming and diving team in a 116-95 win over Utica on Saturday afternoon.
Reeder and Bauer, as well as the women's team seniors Nicole Leinders, Alanna Blackburn and Kathryn Whittum, were each honored as part of the Senior Day celebration prior to Saturday's meet; their last in the Augusbury Pool.
Reeder's wins came in the 100 (50.19) and 200 freestyle (1:49.35) events, while Bauer was second in the 1000 freestyle (11:04.17) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:36.33). Sophomore Jack Quinn finished in front of Bauer in the latter, clocking in at 5:32.82)
First-year diver Matthew Edkins swept the all-SLU diving events, edging teammate Alex Blake with scores of 261.60 (1M) and 295.80 (3M).
Other winners for St. Lawrence included Philip Scott (50 free, 23.93) and Henry McCormick (100 breaststroke, 1:05.80).
The Saints will now turn their attention to preparing for the UNYSCSA Championships which begin on Feb. 17.
