POTSDAM – Potsdam High School’s football team will host a Marine Corps leadership seminar at the school Aug. 17 starting at 2 p.m.
The leadership seminar is a community relations venue hosted by Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Albany and the Recruiting Contact Station in Potsdam.
Comprised of an introductory leadership principles presentation, dynamic warm-ups and a timed ten-station circuit course, the seminar is designed to challenge its participants mentally and physically and instill leadership in the upperclassmen who will graduate or become seniors in the following year.
Approximately 40 student athletes are slated to attend.
The Albany recruiting station conducted 12 such seminars across upstate New York and Vermont in 2015.
