Kiana Plouffe and Mary Terhune both won an individual event and contributed to a winning relay to lead the St. Lawrence University women's outdoor track and field team to a win in the seven-team SLU Twilight Invitational on Saturday evening.
Plouffe won the long jump with a leap of 4.69 meters and was the anchor leg on the winning 4x100. Terhune dropped 7.4 seconds of her personal best in the 1,500, winning the race in four minutes, 49.35 seconds, and ran leadoff for the Saints' winning 4x400.
St. Lawrence won the meet with 258.5 points, while SUNY Plattsburgh was second with 161.
MaryElizabeth Royce posted a collegiate-best performance to win the high jump, clearing 1.48 meters, while Leah Conners added a win in the hammer throw (45.36 meters).
