Graduate student Matt Skelly gave up two runs in seven innings and St. Lawrence University's baseball team scored 13 runs in winning its fifth game in six starts on its Florida trip with a 13-3 win over Lasell on Thursday.
Skelly, 1-0, struck out two to earn the win while Ben Jenkins struck out two in two innings in his first collegiate appearance in relief.
Paul Piatelli hit a three run homer, Bryan Palermo triped and scored twice, Carter Franz doubled and scored two runs and Khifer O'Connor had three hits and scored twice for the Saints.
The Saints, 5-1, will play Theil Friday before closing their southern trip against New Paltz on Saturday.
