The St. Lawrence University volleyball team dropped its first match of the Regional Challenge in Rochester, NY. New York University slipped past the Saints, 3-2, by the scores of 25-12, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25, and 15-11.
Nyasha Miller led the Saints with 18 kills and three aces, while Marta Johann had 10 kills. Jenna Street tallied 35 assists and 14 digs. Anna Kassab and Katherine Pierce added 14 and 13 digs, respectively.
The Saints meet Rochester tonight at 8:00pm, and Fredonia and Nazareth tomorrow at 11:00am and 1:00pm, respectively.
