Northern TRIBS swimmers broke 25 club records during the 2018 Adirondack Gold Short Course Championship in Troy recently.
Northern TRIBS Swimming (NTS), represented by 12 athletes from across St. Lawrence and Franklin counties, swam for 11 female, 12 male and 2 relay club record times.
Gretchen Braun of Lisbon led the way sweeping first-place finishes in all nine of her individual races, plus first in a 400 freestyle relay and a second in a 200 medley relay, earning herself individual high point for girls 10 and under, with 180 points for first place.
Sydney Rochefort of Massena won the 50 breaststroke, and came in second to Gretchen in a number of events including the 100 breast, 100 and 200 individual medley, and contributed to other relay wins, earning third place in individual high point for girls 10 and under with 131 points.
The two girls will represent NTS in the Eastern Zone Short Course Age Group Championship in Webster this weekend.
