The St. Lawrence men's tennis team earned a win a piece in both singles in doubles, but No. 40 Rochester, which is also ranked No. 13 in region, handed the Saints a 7-2 loss on Saturday afternoon in Rochester.
The Scarlet and Brown's top doubles pairing of John Megas and Robert Schmitz defeated the Yellowjackets' Ian Baranowski and Aaron Mevorach, 8-3, while junior Paul Barrett edged Sam Leeman 7-6(4), 7-5 in the fifth singles position for the second Saints' point.
The Saints are now 7-5 overall on the season. They'll close out their western New York road trip with a Sunday afternoon matchup against Liberty League opponent Hobart in Geneva, N.Y.
