New York, NY – Jules Ngadula (Manlius, NY) netted his first career goal to give the SUNY Canton men's soccer team an early lead but they dropped a 2-1 decision on the road to John Jay College on Saturday.
Jules Ngadula (Manlius, NY) got the Roos on the board first in the 15th minute after an initial shot from Devin Gruneisen (Potsdam, NY) was saved. He collected the rebound and buried it to make it 1-0. John Jay answered back to tie the game at 1-1 heading to intermission.
The Bloodhounds scored the game-winner in the second half to improve to 5-8 on the season, while the Roos drop to 4-9 on the season. Austin Lamay (Malone, NY) made seven saves in net for SUNY Canton.
The men's soccer team continues its five match road trip when it visits Elmira College Wednesday at 3 p.m.
