Amanda Meurer and Demi McClung both had school-record performances to lead the St. Lawrence University women's swimming and diving team on Day 3 of the Liberty League Championships at Ithaca College on Friday night.

Meurer was fourth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of two minutes, 9.96 seconds, breaking the record set by Joanne Cavallerano in 2002 by 0.90 seconds. McClung actually broke her own record twice, beating the time she set in December by 0.10 seconds in the trials before beating the mark again in the finals, this time by 0.34 seconds with a time of 1:08.29 to finish fifth.

Meurer, Emily McCormick, Rose Keady and Madeline Holodnik combined to finish sixth in the 800 free relay for the Saints.

The Saints are in seventh place in the 10-team championship with 473 points. Rensselaer leads the pack with 1,076 points, with Ithaca in second with 952. The Saints are just nine points behind William Smith, which sits in sixth.

The championship will conclude on Saturday.
