Geneva, NY – Àine McMorrow (Dublin Knocklyon, Ireland) continued her impressive rookie campaign breaking her own SUNY Canton program record from last time out as she covered the 5-kilometer course in 19:24 on Saturday at the Cross Country Only Championships in Geneva.

McMorrow broke her previous mark by 38 seconds to finish in second place individually, just seven seconds back of the race winner, Sarah Duclos from Clarkson University. SUNY Canton's second and third runners throughout the season Samantha Smith (Mooers Forks, NY) and Keara Byrne (Queensbury, NY) did not run on Saturday due to injuries as they look to heal for the remaining two races.

Schynia Petteys (Porter Corners, NY) was the second Roo runner across the line in 23:49 (71st), while Jess Nagy (Budd Lake, NJ) was not far behind in 24:04 (74th). Kim McCarthy (Ludlow, MA) and Allison Fink (Saranac, NY) rounded out the top five in 90th and 95th places, respectively.
