Sophomore Montana McMahon tied for first place and claimed the individual title to lead the St. Lawrence University women's golf team to a second-place finish at the SUNY Canton Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Partridge Run Golf and Country Club in Canton, New York. McMahon shot a season-best 89, 17 over par on the par-72 course to tie for the best score of the day and claim the individual title due to the tie-breaking procedure.
SUNY Canton won the tournament, shooting a combined 409, while the Saints placed second, shooting 412.
