Freshman Alec MacCrory was the top Saint finisher in the 2013 North Country Invitational on the 5 kilometer course at Clarkson University on Wednesday.
MacCrory ran 17:35 and was 13th overall to lead a portion of the Saint men's team which participated in the non-scoring meet. Sophomore Ellis Toll was 16th in 17:39 while freshman William Manning was 17th in 17:40 and rookie Fletcher Starnes finished 19th in 17:52 to complete the top-20 finishes in the 44- runner field for the Saints.
Junior Tyler Baldino finished 24th in 18:15, senior Kyle Blanchette was 25th in 18:24 and sophomore Bryan Geiger completed the Saint team with a 36th place finish in 19:20.
The full Saint team will run in the Plattsburgh Cardinal Invitation on Saturday in Plattsburgh.
