Molly Lennon won the 400 meter hurdles and Leah Conners had two top ten finishes in the throws as St. Lawrence University's women's outdoor track and field team competed in the non-scoring St. John Fisher Invitational in Rochester on Saturday.
Lennon ran 1:05.54 to win the 400 hurdles with Jacqueline Ebeling finishing fourth in 1:07.25. Lennon also ran on the fourth place 4x400 relay team, joining Elina Breton, Ashley Leta and Hannah Fake in a 4:16.75 performance.
Conners finished fourth in the hammer with a 43.13 throw and was ninth in the discus with a 33.26 mark for her two top ten finishes. Meghann Wood was fourth in the shot put at 12.02 meters and was 26th in the discus while Sara Norberg was 17th in the discus, 20th in the shot and 28th in the hammer and Princess Ngwu was 18th in the hammer and 17th in the shot. Mikaela Martell was eight in the javelin with a 28.19 meter throw.
Elina Breton was ninth, Catherine Rowell tenth and Jaleigh Pier 19th in the 400 meters, Chinelo Asanya was 11th and Ketura Mason 20th in the 200, Ashley Leta was 18th in the 800 and Miabelle Salzano was ninth and Sarah Moon 10th in the 5000 meters.
Morgan Rosser was fourth in the high jump at 1.44 meters and eighth in the triple jump at 10.60 while Hannah Klossner finished eighth in the high jump. Fake finished 10th in the pole vault at 2.77 meters.
