Potsdam, NY – Tom Lauzon (Bombay, NY) ran his fastest 5-kilometer race as a Roo as the SUNY Canton men's cross country team competed at the North Country Invitational hosted on the campus of Clarkson University Wednesday evening. The event was a non-scoring team race but individual times and places were kept.
Lauzon finished 22nd out of a 44-runner field in a time of 18:12 over the 5-kilometer course. His previous collegiate 5K best was Saturday at the Kangaroo Invitational in 18:25. Dan Loskowitz (Stuyvesant, NY) clocked a time of 18:40, while Jon Flint (Queensbury, NY) recorded a 34th place finish in 19:03. A 5K time of 19:51 from Dylan Barringer (Wallkill, NY) and a 21:00 time for Andrew Wilson (Bronx, NY) rounded out the Roo runners.
