The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team suffered a 67-49 loss to Ithaca College on Friday night in Ithaca, NY.
The Saints, now 2-2, were led by senior Iris Santoni's seven points, while classmate Casey Capello, sophomore Kelly Legg and first-year student Kara McDuffee added six points each. The Bombers, who improved to 6-0, were led by Devin Shea and Jenn Escobido who each scored 12 points.
Ithaca used a strong first half to earn the win, shooting 58.3 percent from the floor while holding St. Lawrence to 16 first-half points.
The Saints will look to rebound from the loss tomorrow night against Elmira College. Tip-off is schedule for 2:00pm.
