Annandale-on-Hudson, NY - Though recently bitten (or chomped upon) by the injury bug lately, the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team received contributions from all of its players in a 76-41 drubbing of Bard College on Friday evening.

The Golden Knights improved to 11-4 overall and 4-2 in the Liberty League and will face Vassar College on Saturday afternoon. Bard fell to 4-11 overall and 0-7 in conference games.

Four players finished in double figures for the Golden Knights as Clarkson shot nearly 50 percent from the field overall on Friday night. The Knights trailed early on, but recorded a 13-0 run in less than three minutes midway through the first half to take a double digit lead. That lead would never shrink below 10 points for the remainder of the contest, as Clarkson edged out to a 17-point lead at the break. Though Bard crawled back to within 15 points (45-30, 13:29 remaining), the Knights responded with a 14-0 run, again taking less than three minutes to accomplish. With yet another big run (11-1) late in the game, Clarkson found itself with a 39-point advantage (74-35) before finally settling at a 35-point margin, its largest victory in 65 games. The last time that the Knights won by so many was a 71-point victory (96-25) against the same Raptors of Bard College in February 2012.

Cara Manfredi scored a team-high 21 points, shooting 9-for-19 from the floor, and freshman Devin Sorell posted a career-high 18 points, going 5-for-7 from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Ashley Loggins had 13 points, seven rebounds, and four steals, while Stephanie Grobe (10 points, five assists, two blocks, two steals) and Katelyn Curtis (seven points, 10 rebounds, four blocks, two steals) each contributed solid all-around games. For Bard, Tytravia Riley posted game-highs with 25 points and 16 rebounds, shooting 9-for-15 from the field. The rest of the Raptors shot just 5-for-37 (13.5%) from the field.
