Annandale-on-Hudson, NY - Ten different players recorded at least a point as a balanced effort across the board allowed the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team to end a four-game losing streak in conference games with a 54-35 victory over Bard College Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Knights evened their record at 7-7 overall and moved to 2-4 in conference games. Bard fell to 1-14 and 0-6. Clarkson will now enjoy a long stretch of home games, playing seven of the final 10 contests of the regular season at Alumni Gymnasium.

Clarkson got off to a strong start against the Raptors, producing points on the first possession of the game and never looking back. Bard was held without a point until Tytravia Riley hit a 3-pointer at the 8:44 mark, and by that point the Knights had a double-digit lead. No specific player was an unstoppable force for Clarkson as it wasn't until the 6:19 mark of the first half that any player had more than three points.

In the second half, the Golden Knights advantage was briefly knocked below double figures, but a pair of free throws at the 16:23 mark began a 12-3 run that was capped off by an Isabella Esposito (Essex, VT) 3-pointer, giving the Knights a 40-22 advantage. Clarkson would lead by at least 16 points for the remainder of the contest, pushing the margin to as many as 24 before it finally settled at 19.

Sophomore Melissa Bogart (Voorheesville, NY) and junior Jovanna Snead (Poughkeepsie, NY) each scored nine points off the bench to lead the Knights in scoring, while Cara Manfredi (Glastonbury, CT) chipped in eight points. Tytravia Riley finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Raptors' effort. Bard's 35 points were the fewest it has scored in the 2013-14 season.
