Jericho, VT - Senior Alyssa Dausman (Syracuse, NY) swept the three races this weekend and classmate Alex Benway (Queensbury, NY) won the overall title on the men's side as the Clarkson University Nordic Ski team won the ECSC Nordic Ski Regionals held at the Ethan Allen Biathlon Range.

The Clarkson women took the top spot among four teams with 18 points, while Cornell (101), Army (102) and Wellesley (108) finished well behind the pace of the Golden Knights. The men's team also took top honors with a first place finish among five squads, scoring 29 points, ahead of Army (74), Cornell (79), Paul Smith's (116), and Hamilton (169).

On the women's side, Clarkson took the top four spots in each of the three races. Opening with the 15-kilometer Classic event, Clarkson had seven skiers finish in the top 10 among 31 participants, led by Dausman, who finished the race in 49 minutes, 40 seconds. Freshman Taryn Dausman (Syracuse, NY) rounded out the top 10 as Clarkson again had seven in the first 10 spots.

The men weren't quite as dominant as the women, but they still cruised to the regional title. In the 15-kilometer Classic event on Saturday, Alex Benway won with a time of 39:11. The Knights had four more skiers in the top 10 as Andrew Klem (Dalton, MA) came in third and Tim Sick (Chambersburg, PA) placed fifth.
