Freshman Trevor Blackwell (Pittsford, NY) and sophomore Jacob Duff (Lebanon, CT) of the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team were each named to the Liberty League All-Star team on Thursday.
Blackwell, a freshman back, was one of the top young players in the conference and picked as a Liberty League Honorable Mention all-star. He scored a pair of goals on just four shots on goal with both figuring as game-winning goals. He started all 17 games for the Knights as a freshman.
Duff, a sophomore midfielder, started all but one game in 2011, sitting out that one contest with an injury. He finished the season with a team-best three assists, serving as Clarkson's normal offense starter on corner kick chances. He, too, was picked as a Liberty League Honorable Mention all-star.
