Sunday River, ME - Seniors Cedrik Proteau-Dubois (Ste. Adele, QUE) and Bill O'Connor (Mahopac, NY) each delivered solid runs for the Clarkson University Men's Alpine Ski team in the slalom on Saturday, closing out the best weekend ever for the Golden Knights at the 2012 USCSA National Championships.

The Knights finished fifth out of the 20 teams at the USCSA Nationals as both the men and women never finished below fifth in the four races this week.

Proteau-Dubois claimed 20th to top the Clarkson performances on Saturday, which was in the top fifth of the 104 participants in the slalom. Proteau-Dubois raced down the mountain in 1:47.43, while his classmate O'Connor came in 22nd in 1:47.77. Sophomore Christian Perryman (West Lebanon, NH) rounded out the scoring for the Knights, taking 30th overall in 1:53.83. Junior David Simon (Montvale, NJ) also performed well, finishing 41st in 1:55.22. Senior JP Phaneuf (Montreal, QUE) did not finish his first run, one of 27 participants who were unable to complete their two runs.
