Freshman Corey Herrington (Camillus, NY) scored eight points over the course of two games last week for the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team, and was picked as the Liberty League's Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
Herrington continued to be one of the top playmakers in the league, posting a goal and four assists in a 13-8 win over Potsdam State on Wednesday, and adding three more assists in a 12-9 loss to 5th-ranked Union College.
On the season, Herrington ranks second in the league with 17 assists and is third overall with 30 points.
