St. Lawrence University's women's squash team received wins from Jill Baker and Emily Terry at one and two and Alex Montamoros at five, but 19th-ranked Hamilton College beat the 21st ranked Saints 6-3 in a match at the Robie Squash Center Thursday evening.
The Saints, 2-11 on the season, will host William Smith in the final match of the regular season at 1 p.m on Saturday.
Baker beat Rachel Newman 11-3, 11-4, 11-5 at one, Terry was a 11-5, 11-9, 11-6 winner over Lindsay Arder at two and Montamoros beat Grace Munschauer 3-2 at five, 3-11, 11-9, 11-8, 10-12, 12-10 for the Saint wins in the match.
Zoe Kagan lost to Rafi Ouro-Aguy 7-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-7 at three, Lille Simourian of Hamilton beat Lizzy Lasusa 11-7, 11-6, 11-8 at four, Hamilton's Megan Grip beat Cristina de la Vega 11-4, 11-3, 4-11, 11-7 at six and Charlotte Zonis was a 11-8, 11-9, 11-3 winner over the Saints Losangela Batista at seven. Katherine Bauer of Hamilton beat Allie Brazo 11-4, 11-5, 11-3 at eight, Martina Hartnick of Hamilton beat the Saints' Val Quan 11-8, 11-5, 11-5 at nine and Hamilton's Caroline von Stade beat Sarah Neilson 11-9 11-9, 8-11, 7-11, 11-5 in the exhibition at ten.
