POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Potsdam's "A" golf team won the 2015 Bears Fall Invitational with a team score of 308. Individually, Bears sophomores Dylan Murphy (Ganesvoort, N.Y.) and Kevin Siegel (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Arlington) tied for second overall with scores of 75. Clarkson University's Scott Henning was the individual medalist with a 70. Clarkson's "A" team, led by Henning, finished second with a score of 309. SUNY Canton was third with a 310.

The "A" Bears were led by Murphy's 75. Freshman Jordan Fordyce (Northville, N.Y.) was next with a 76 and seniors Conor Talty (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) and John Hickey (Au Sable Forks, N.Y./Au Sable Valley) followed with a 78 and 79, respectively. Senior Kevin Doherty (Amherst, N.Y./Amherst) posted an 84.

Siegel paced the Bears "B" team. Graduate student Ryan Merriman (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) shot an 80 and sophomore Konnor Bigwarfe (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) had an 83. Juniors William Vlad (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Croton Harmon) and Dan Cruikshank (Potsdam, N.Y./Potsdam) each finished with a 91.

The Bears are back in action on September 18, when they compete at the SUNY Canton Invitational.
