Clarkson University Hockey standout, sophomore Joe Zarbo (Grand Island, NY) was selected ECAC Hockey Player of the Week after a strong performance in the Golden Knights’ weekend on the road at Harvard and Dartmouth.
Zarbo paced Clarkson to its first win of the New Year by recording his first career hat trick in Clarkson’s 5-1 win over the Crimson in Cambridge, MA on Friday. He followed with the Knights’ lone goal against 12th/13th-ranked Dartmouth in Hanover, NH on Saturday.
Zarbo has recorded five goals and one assist in the past five games. He leads the Knights in goal scoring with 11 and has 13 points through 20 games. He leads the conference in goals scored with nine, averaging .90 goals per ECAC Hockey contest.
Clarkson hosts central NY rivals Colgate and Cornell at Cheel Arena this weekend.
