After helping to lead the Clarkson University Women’s Hockey team to the best season in the program’s 10-year history this past winter several Golden Knights earned an invitation to Hockey Canada’s U22 Development Team Conditioning Camp.

Eight Clarkson Women’s Hockey players were among 43 athletes who participated in the prestigious camp, which took place on April 24-28 at the MasterCard Centre in Toronto.

Juniors Erica Howe (Ottawa, ONT), Carly Mercer (Exeter, ONT), Shelby Nisbet (Wiseton, SASK) and Jamie Lee Rattray (Kanata, ONT), sophomore Jennifer Shields (Ingersoll, ONT) and freshmen Erin Ambrose (Keswick, ONT), Renata Fast (Burlington, ONT) and Shannon MacAulay (Mt. Herbert, PEI) all took part in the development camp, which featured some of the best players in the next generation of Canadian women’s hockey.
