Sophomore John Coleman (Potsdam, NY) of the Clarkson University Baseball team continues to rack up post-season honors as he was chosen as an ABCA/Rawlings New York All-Region member, gaining admittance among the all-stars as a shortstop on the Third-Team.

Coleman, who was also chosen as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star and as a Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American (District 3), led the Golden Knights in all three slash stats with a .361 batting average, a .423 on-base percentage, and a .444 slugging percentage. He also led the team in hits (48), extra-base hits (9), walks (13), and total bases (59) while fielding .956 at shortstop with just seven errors in 35 games.

Through 74 career games, Coleman already has 92 hits and has scored 54 runs. The Liberty League Rookie of the Year in 2012, Coleman ranks 10th all-time in batting average among players with at least 150 career at bats at .342, and is seventh among players with at least 250 career at bats.
