Four members of the St. Lawrence men's soccer team were named to the 2014 ECAC Division III Upstate All-Star team, as announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) on Tuesday.

Juniors Harry Copeland and Dan Hunt earned first team honors on defense, while sophomore Rob Brandell was named a first team midfielder. Junior Ryan Grant garnered second team honors at forward.

This is the fourth first team honor of the postseason for Copeland, who was named the Saints lone All-America by the NSCAA last week, after having earned All-Region and All-Conference honors. The Dedham, Mass. native finished second on the team in scoring with eight goals and two assists for 18 points while also stifling opponent offenses all season long.

Hunt, a second team All-Region and first team All-Conferee honoree, tallied 10 points (3g, 4a) as an outside back for St. Lawrence during his junior campaign. A co-captain for the Saints, Hunt helped clinch the team's second consecutive Liberty League regular season title with a game-winning overtime goal at Skidmore in October.

Brandell led the Scarlet and Brown in scoring this season, recording eight goals and four assists for 20 points. A first team selection for both All-Region and All-Conference, the sophomore midfielder also was tied for the team lead with four game-winning goals. His double overtime winner against Hobart in the Liberty League semifinals sent the Saints to the championship match for the second consecutive season.

Grant was named to the Liberty League's first team earlier this fall. He finished the season with two goals and two assists for six points, with both of his goals coming in the Saints 7-1 win over Purchase in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
