Four Saints earn USA College Football All-America

Four members of the St. Lawrence University football team have been recognized by USA College Football as NCAA Division III All-Americans for the 2014 season, including second team selections Mike Lefflbine and Chyron Brown-Wallace.

Lefflbine was the Liberty League's Co-Offensive Player of the Year and the premier quarterback in the conference, while Brown-Wallace was a first team selection after a monster season along the defensive front. They were joined as USA College Football All-Americas by a pair of honorable mention selections, tight end Mitch Gallagher and offensive lineman Ryan Schmidt.

Gallagher was one of the elite receiving threats in the Liberty League this season with eight receiving touchdowns. Schmidt protected Lefflbine's blindside at left tackle, helping the Saints quarterback establish a new single-season record with 21 touchdown passes.

Selections to the USA College Football All-America teams are contributed by NCAA Division III Conferences, Head Coaches, Sports Information Directors, National, Regional and Local Broadcast & Print Media, American Football Coaches Association, Lindy's Sports, Regional Football Writers' Associations, Professional Football Franchise Scouts and Certified Players' Agents as well as the staff of USA Football Network, Inc.

All seniors, with no remaining football eligibility, are candidates to participate in the 21st Annual USA Football Bowl in Jackson, MS from January 16 to January 20, 2015.
