The Liberty League announced its annual award winners for women's lacrosse on Thursday and four members of the St. Lawrence University squad earned All-Conference honors for the first time in their collegiate careers.

Three Saints landed on the league's second team including junior attack Brigid Hurley, junior midfielder Holly Noyes and sophomore defenseman Tasha Cornell-Roberts. Meanwhile, junior midfielder Stephanie O'Rourke earned Honorable Mention status.

"All four of our players that earned recognition had outstanding years and were very well-deserving," said St. Lawrence head coach Dr. Jodi Canfield. "With each of them returning next season, we're obviously excited about the future of the program."

Hurley set the pace offensively for St. Lawrence this spring, totaling 49 points on 43 goals and six assists. She had three game-winning tallies and added 12 ground balls.

Noyes was the squad's leader in draw controls with 64, which helped give the team valuable possession time throughout the campaign. The Marblehead, MA native also scored 16 points (13g, 3a) and had 37 ground balls.

Cornell-Roberts started in all 16 games this spring at defense after playing in only four contests as a rookie. The Ithaca, NY native was a consistent defender, adding 12 draw controls, nine ground balls and three caused turnovers.

O'Rourke emerged as a key offensive threat in the midfield this season for the Saints, as she was third on the roster in points with 34 (28g, 6a). The Marcellus, NY native matched Hurley's game-winning goal total of three and added 12 ground balls.

RIT's Shelby Vakiener won the Liberty League's Offensive Player of the Year award for her conference-high 106 point season (69g, 37a), while Rensselaer goaltender Allie Arnal is the conference's Defensive Player of the Year. Emily McGrail from Union is the Rookie of the Year and Leslie DeLano and her staff at Rensselaer was honored as Coaching Staff of the Year.
