Former Clarkson University Hockey standout Yan Turgeon ‘00, now an independent film director, debuts his first feature film this Friday. Rock Paper Scissors, a French Canadian movie directed by Turgeon, and starring Roy Dupuis, opens in theatres in Montreal on February 22.

Turgeon, who graduated from Clarkson with a double major in Psychology and Technical Communications, played for the Golden Knights from 1996-90. A native of Rosemere, Quebec, Turgeon skated in 134 career games at forward and recorded 61 points on 17 goals and 44 assists. He played on Clarkson’s 1999 ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship team and skated in three NCAA Tournament (1997, 98, 99).
