Four straight goals drove the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team to a 4-1 win over SUNY Canton on Tuesday night.

Clarkson is now 5-9-1 on the season. The Canton Kangaroos fall to 3-12-1.

Canton took the lead with a goal in the 17th minute. Rebecca Dinardo played a through ball down the middle of the field and Kristina Dinardo was able to race onto it and score to give the Kangaroos a 1-0 lead.

Clarkson was able to tie the game with just under five minutes remaining in the first half. Alicia Bushey swung in a corner kick and leading scorer Lauren Flynn was there to meet it and score.

With the momentum on Clarkson's side, the Golden Knights came out strong in the second half and took the lead in the 52nd minute. Flynn pivoted from scorer to provider, as she set up Giulia Mahoney to score the go-ahead goal. Clarkson added a third goal in the 82nd minute when Courtney Black scored off a pass from Paige Spittler. Flynn scored the final goal of the game in the 89th minute off a pass from Brianna Weber. Flynn now has 21 career goals, becoming just the second Clarkson player to reach 20 goals. She is also second all-time in Clarkson history in career points with 47.

Clarkson finished with a 17-1 edge in shots and took all nine of the game's corner kicks. Elyse Green earned the win in goal for Clarkson while Allison Wakefield made two saves in a losing effort for Canton.

Clarkson has two games remaining on its schedule. The Golden Knights will hit the road for the final time on Saturday when they travel to Skidmore for a 2:00pm game.
