Five members of the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team scored in double-figures on Friday night, as the Saints defeated Bard College in Liberty League play by the score of 73-48 in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.

The Saints, now 6-7 overall and 2-2 in the conference, were led by the rookie trio of Kyle Edwards (13 points), Kyle Kobis (12 points) and Kieran Miller (10 points). Senior Al Jones and junior Brady Condlin also added and 13 and 12 points, respectively in the win over the Raptors, who fall to 5-9 (0-5).

St. Lawrence used a 43-22 advantage in rebounding and a 17-9 edge in assists to pull away from Bard, which was led by Lamar Powell's 15 points. Miller recorded a double-double with 10 assists for the Scarlet and Brown, while Janpeter Brase chipped in eight rebounds and three blocks. St. Lawrence shot 48% in the game, including 40% (6-of-15) from behind the arc, while Bard shot 36% from the floor.

Though the Raptors held an early cushion in the first half at 10-7, Payton Stahler would give the Saints the lead at 15-14 with 11:18 to play in the period. The Saints wouldn't trail again, as Edwards nailed back-to-back threes to make it a seven point game, which became a 12-point cushion at intermission, 37-25.

The visitors would use a 26-14 advantage in points in the pain during the second half to grow the lead, as Bard trailed by double-digits throughout. St. Lawrence earned several lay-ups to push the lead to 20 with 4:00 minutes left at 64-44, and cruised to the comfortable 73-48 win.

The Saints, who have won four of their last six, will take on Vassar tomorrow in Poughkeepsie, NY. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00pm.
