Albany, NY -- Ricardo Eugenio (Mamaroneck, NY) scored his first collegiate goal and Nick Escalante (Whittier, CA) chipped in a score and three assists as the SUNY Canton men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to five matches in a 4-2 road win against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Tuesday evening.

Escalante delivered a pass to Eugenio just over 16 minutes into the contest as he beat Panther keeper Matt Houlihan to make it 1-0. Less than five minutes later the hosts knotted it at one apiece as Mina Ishak played a ball to Zak Giorgi who placed a shot behind Roo goalkeeper Patrick Anunziatta (Schenectady, NY).

Fifty-seven seconds later Hunter Mowery (Elizabethtown, NY) controlled a ball finding Escalante along the sideline. The California native delivered a cross to Devin Gruneisen (Potsdam, NY) who used a diving header to make it 2-1 Roos. SUNY Canton took the one goal lead into intermission.

Escalante would extend the Roos lead to 3-1 in the 62nd minute on his 12th goal of the season and seventh in the last three games. Tyler Gallagher (Potsdam, NY) was awarded an assist on the play. Mowery added his first goal of the season 15 minutes later as Escalante set up the play.

Albany College of Pharmacy added a late goal off the foot of Kyle Perry for the 4-2 final. Anunziatta stopped six shots for the Roos, while Houlihan made seven saves for the Panthers.

The men's soccer team returns to action on Friday when it hosts SUNY Institute of Technology at 6:00 p.m.
