Matthew Edkins highlighted the final day of the UNYSCSA Championship meet with a second-place finish in the 3-meter diving event on Saturday afternoon at Ithaca College.

Edkins, who took third in the 1-meter two days prior, scored 551.85 to take second and help the Saints to 28 team points.

St. Lawrence started the evening finals block with two swimmers in the 1650 freestyle. Robert Burke posted a time of 18:14.30 to place 24th in front of teammate Jack Quinn who was 25th in 18:23.76.

The relay team of Isaac Brinkman, Henry McCormick, Philip Scott and Calin Arnold were 13th in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:20.91

The Saints finished 14th with 195 points through the four day event. While the season is over for the swimmers, Edkins qualified for NCAA Regionals earlier in the season and will compete again later this month.
