St. Lawrence men's tennis swept the doubles matches with a trio of 8-5 victories and Paul Barrett and John Megas clinched singles wins to help the Saints to a 6-3 win over Nichols College on Tuesday afternoon in Orlando, Fl.
Megas earned the deciding win for the Saints at No. 3, edging Nichols' Josh Halpern 6-3, 6-1. Barrett did not concede a game during his match with Cam Lewis at No. 6
John Megas and Robert Schmitz, Tom Luchars and Elliot Solandt, and Rhonny Rosario and Barrett were the doubles teams that claimed victories for the Saints.
The Saints will play Luther on Wednesday, March 18.
