The Clarkson University Baseball program will be holding its annual summer day camp from July 8th through July 12th. This camp will provide a fundamental approach to the game of baseball emphasizing all phases of the game. The camp is for players from the ages of 7 to 18 and of all skill levels. No prior experience is necessary, and players are matched by age and skill level for drills and games. Parents are welcome to observe drills, games and instruction.
The objective of the Clarkson Summer Baseball Camp is to encourage player development through small group and individual instruction. An atmosphere of both fun and learning is provided.
The Clarkson University Baseball Camp has taken on a more streamlined format and will be reduced to a half-day camp like many others at Clarkson, allowing many campers to enjoy total instruction while not missing any games due to summer participation. This change has been reflected in a signifi cant cost reduction as well, as the price of camp has been reduced to $125. Cost includes instruction, use of facilities and equipment, on-site trainer, camp T-shirt, individual skills assessment.
The Golden Knights Summer Baseball Camp offers the best in individual instruction for every youngster participating in the camp. Emphasis is on the development of sound fundamental skills plus a thorough knowledge and understanding of offensive and defensive strategies in baseball. The goal is to have each participant leave the camp with a better understanding of what it takes to be a complete team player.
